Ireland: Viking Tour

15/9/12

We planned to visit Athone Castle today but we got to know from the Tourist Information Office that it is closed to the public till October. Then we explored Athlone Town Centre, St. Peter and Paul's Church.

We went on a Viking Tour @ River Shannon. The sceneries were really nice. They even provided blankets and complimentary tea and coffee.

Cool underground mini bar on the 'ship'

At first it was bearable cold but it was freezing when it started to drizzle. This 'ship' is owned by a father an a son and we managed to take a photo with the father.

When we were taking photo, he held us really close and tight. At that moment, I felt the sincerity and warmth coming from him.

At night, we added udon into the leftover soup and had it for dinner. Now that we are away from home, it is really hard for s to prepare meals for ourselves everyday. We have difficulties thinking of what to eat and choosing the ingredients that goes into the dishes.

P.S. The clouds here looks very low.
