DAY 4: 台北
We made a 3-day booking (10 hours each day) with the cab driver beforehand in SG and we met him at our apartment lobby.
Breakfast @永和豆漿
We saw a ceremony going on while we were on the cab and Peter (driver) suggested to get down the cab to take some photos.
The person was grooming the soldier's attire. He even helped him to brush off the dirt on his face hahaha
Then we arrived @ 陽明山. Saw this auntie demonstrating her product, the "solo tennis game". There is a string attached to the bat and everytime she hits it, the ball will rebounce to her. COOL MAN~ feel like buying but again the question: how to bring back SG?
Another 海芋 fields. The farmers are now using high-tech irrigation and farming methods which make the growth of water lily possible without submerging its roots underwater.
spot peter~ He told us that many retirees in Taiwan will resort to becoming a taxi driver and bring tourists around the island.
Then we went up the slopes, passed by curvy routes and here we were @ the volcano mouth of 陽明山。The wind was extremely strong!
ahaahahaha see i told you the wind was really EXTREMELY STRONG!
hahahahah another picture to prove the strong winds~

OK...THE AFTER EFFECT...Note: the wind is a good styling tool hahahah

Fried Quail Egg! Hao chi!

Soft Shell Crabs! SO GOOOOOOD~
MUA-CHEEEEEEE
XXXXL SQUID. First few bites were nice. Subsequently felt kind of sick of the fishy smell.
YUMMY PANCAKE! There's A LOT of filling (red bean / custard) inside. MUCH CHEAPER AND NICER than Mr B*an/Jollib*an (oops)
Cute packaging
Its custard inside! YUMMEHHH!
Then we headed back and tried this 滷味 @ Q Square Mall below our apartment. 超贊!

DAY 5: 台北
BREAKFAST: 蚵仔大腸麵線. The oysters are huge and the intestines here are different from the ones we usually eat in Singapore. They are soooooo chewy that you might ended up just swallowing them in the end. hahaha
放天燈 time @ 十份
I was trying to draw a CUTE smiley character....

THEN I RUINED IT AFTER I'VE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE EYES TO EYEBROW AND ADD HAIRS AND EAR -.-

A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER~~~~~~
@ 野柳
We came here to see the 女皇頭...
The attraction is congested with chinese tourists. This is due to the recent allowance of 1000 china tourists into Taiwan per day to boost their tourism sector. SPOT THE PPL~
all queuing up to take picture with the figurine
We got really pissed off while queuing for our turn... I reached there first and started queuing while waiting for my family to walk there. Then my family joined in and some chinese tourists started making noises and maligned us for cutting queue. (Imagine 7 Lulus shouting at you at the same time) EH DA JIE ITS ONLY A GROUP PHOTO! NOT 5 INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS. We didn't want to re-queue, but my dad who is a SUPER MR NICE GUY, told us to re-queue tsk tsk. And so we witnessed the whole process of them having their pictures taken. Each one of them were taking their own sweet time and changing various poses. 真是的~
In conclusion, different people from different countries have different queuing style. I was just showcasing the Singaporean queuing style in a foreign country. Definition of Singaporean queuing style: One person queue first (chop place) then the other 4 people join afterwards. hahaahahaah #iloveSG
Can't stand the crowd!
LUNCH @ a seafood restaurant
Then we came to 黃金博物館 to see gold. Yes, G-O-L-D. This place reminds me of Fort Canning. It also showcases the history of Japanese occupation.
THIS GOLD WORTHS 329,785,100 YUAN. If you are able to lift, you can have it hahaaha
HUAT AH! i looked kind of creepy here heh heh heh
A distance down the hills, we arrived @ 九份老街
ahhaahhaha spotted this super cute owner. she even posed for us and said 'nice to meet you, kamsahamnida~'
Visited SOPHISCA, a shop selling unique and attractive choc/candies
SOPHISCA recently replaced Candy Empire @ Airport T3. YES CANDY EMPIRE DAO BI LOOO HHEHEHE. But the price is double of that in Taiwan....
this is nice! white choc with popping candy. When you eat it, its like fireworks inside your mouth.
can't rmb whats this. i think is kueh made with flower petals

DAY 6: 台北
This day we decided to take the public transportation around...
We had our breakfast at a traditional 早餐店. They sell really economical coffee and toast bread. My sister said the coffee sold here is one of the best-valued that she has ever drunk. One cup costs only 70cents! (hmmm my sister added this sentence herself while editing the post lol)
@ 西門町, my mum at there kpo again ahahhaa
tried the famous 阿宗麵線
my sis said it would be more feeling if we squat and eat...so she tried it...
"oh shit pants too tight...."
"can you help me up?"
Saw ABTM ads at the mrt station.
台北一零一 too foggy to see the top
hahaha mum was trying to see the top
@五分埔 There are a lot of wholesalers selling apparels in bulks
FAVOURITE PART AGAIN: 饒河夜市

Saw this Hello Kitty Airlines corner. so cuteeeeeee
